Campus Connections is a groundbreaking program designed to assist students during their post-secondary education. We use the Wraparound Planning Process and the Birkman Method Assessment to create a personalized support team for each student. This team includes a dedicated coach who offers mentoring, guidance, and assistance with navigating the academic and social journey.
Our program's primary aim is to empower students to efficiently address their concerns, make informed choices, and enhance their self-advocacy skills. Whether you're pursuing education at a community college, trade school, four-year university, or certification program, Campus Connections is ready to support all students.
Our college support program encompasses the following:
1. Comprehensive career assessment that addresses student strengths, interests, and career objectives, with ongoing evaluations.
2. One-on-one weekly support sessions with a dedicated coach.
3. Monthly wraparound meetings with the coach, plus any other support individuals chosen by the student, such as parents, VR counselors, DRC staff, and more.
4. Flexible additional support options, available in-person or virtually through text, email, phone, or video calls.
5. Group skills training and activities, available in-person or virtually, emphasizing:
- Soft skills
- Team building
- Time management
- Organization and planning
- Career development
- Post-Graduate Job Preparation
- Internship assistance
6. In-person support within 50 miles of Las Vegas, NV, Houston, TX, and Austin, TX is accessible, regardless of the student's campus location, contingent on coach availability. However, virtual support is available nationwide!
Bloom Consulting is an approved provider through contracts with the Texas Workforce Commission and the Nevada Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation (VR). Eligible post-secondary students may have access to funding support. We encourage you to connect with your VR Counselor to explore potential sponsorship opportunities. Private pay options are also available.
Joining Campus Connections is a straightforward process:
1. Begin by applying to and gaining admission to your preferred post-secondary or higher education institution.
2. Fill out the online student application for Campus Connections.
3. Once your online application is submitted and processed, a member of our team will get in touch with you to review your submitted information, provide additional program details, and ask you a set of questions to ensure that our program aligns with your needs.
